Color Swatches

In April I asked my customers, Who wants a NEW Catalog? I had many respond. If they responded by a certain date they would receive "color swatches".  Check them out!
Here are the swatches. Each piece of card stock has a label with the name, ink pad #, re-fill # & card stock number. This way they can see all the color families and the new colors.

Here is how I decorated them. I put them in a large cello bag, with a ribbon around them and then my stamped image from Blue Ribbon. I made them all different using the new In Colors. I have a video on how to "punch" out the scalloped image. Click HERE to view!

These color swatches were defiantly a labor of love! I hope my customers know how much I appreciate them........

Mouthwatering Cherries!

Here is the last card we did in my card class on Saturday. I used the set Mouthwatering along with Label Love which is new.
I jazzed up this card a bit using the Red Glimmer paper for the cherries. And a Rhinestone for the highlights. Can you see the new punch and stamp set?? LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the new punch and matching stamp set. Available May 31st!

And instead of a regular envelope, I took a lunch bag, cut off the bottom, glued the bottom shut and ran it through the paper crimper a couple of turns and stamped the cherries all over the front. Makes a cute envelope. Not sure if you could mail it, but if you ran out of envelopes this would be a great alternate.

This is a super cute stamp set that is retiring soon. Again its one, that I didn't use much. This is another card we did in my card class yesterday.

Couldn't decide if I liked them or not. Both of my customers said they LOVED the goolie eyes so they stayed.......they were left over from a Halloween kit.

Candy Wrapper Treats!

I've added a Lindor Lindt candy to each wrapper.

You can see here I wrapped a piece of dsp around the wrapper and then hot glued a rosette to that, and a smashed Soda Pop Top. I cut a 2" x 6 1/4" of dsp and punched it with the Scallop Trim Border Punch on both sides.

For the rosette I used a 1" x 12" piece of dsp, scored every 1/4"  and used the same punch on one long side. You can see how I did the inside of the Soda Pop Top HERE! And you can see my video on how to smash your Soda Pop Tops HERE!
I haven't pulled this die out in a long time. I'm sad its on the retirement list.......these treats are for my gals that are coming here tomorrow for my Quick and Cute Card Class. Aren't you sad you won't be here????

How About I Tease You With Some of the New In Colors?

I can't remember where I saw this type of card. I started out with a piece of Whisper White Card Stock cut at, 5 1/2" x 12". Score on the long side, 4", 7 1/2", 8" & 11 1/2".
Then I cut another layer of Whisper White, 3 3/4" x 5 1/4". This is where I did my stamping and added my die cuts from the Blossom Party die. The flowers are Crisp Cantalope & Strawberry Slush. The stamped images are from Raining Flowers that is on the retirement list. I think I only used this set a couple of times.........The big flower was stamped with Crisp Cantalope, and the small flower is Strawberry Slush. The little flower is Costal Cabana and the leaves are Pistachio Pudding. Don't you love the names of these colors. They look like sherbert ice cream.

BEFORE you put this together you need to punch the Artisan Label  Punch from the last panel and stamp next to it. Then I stamped the Happy Birthday on a scrap and punched out with the same punch.  After I put the card together I went back and put in the sentiment. So this gives you a retired stamp set with the new In Colors, a new punch and another new stamp set.  Only 15 more days until you can order from the new catalog!

This and That Epic Day Meets Oh Hello!

I don't know where my days go......have you ever felt that you were busy all day, but don't know what you did? That seems to be my life here lately.......

Ok, now on to a fun card my Club Gals made this month. I have seen several of these cards and always thought it was just too much trouble........NOT SO! In fact they are soooooo easy!
I LOVE, LOVE the This and That Epic Day dsp. Usually I'm not drawn to these colors, but for some reason I am to this paper. See that button in the bottom right corner? Its not really a button........its made from clay and then colored with re-inker.  This clay is in our new catalog that goes live on the 31st. The clay is very soft and pliable. You put it in the mold and let dry overnight. We have 2 molds too, buttons on one, and flowers on another! Who knew I would love this product too!

You can watch my video on how to make the flower HERE!
So here is how you cut your dsp to make the starburst:
You need 3 pieces of dsp cut at, 1 1/2" x 4 1/2". Take each piece and put in your paper trimmer like this:
Sorry for the glare, but you can see that I have the paper with one corner at the top right and the bottom left corner ready to cut.

Here is what you should have after cutting. One tip I have is, put your cut dsp in the pattern that you like first, and they can be overlapping a bit, then adhere it down. Only glue in the center of each piece as you will cut off the part of the points and at the top.
If you need more instructions let me know and I will do a tutorial.

Here is what I used:
Oh Hello Stamp set, #130733- Spring Catlog
Really Good Greetings, #130333- New catalog
This and That dsp, #130814 - New catalog
Washi Tape, This and That, #131269- New catalog

7/8" Scallop Circle Punch,129404 - both catalogs
